eSpatial was established in 1997 and is 90% owned by leading investing house, IIU (International Investment & Underwriting). The other 10% is owned by, Enterprise Ireland, Ireland's state economic development agency. Its headquarters is in Dublin, Ireland where it has staff in sales and marketing, administration, consulting, technical support, and product development. US Sales and GIS Consultancy operations are based are based in Herndon, Virginia and the company also has sales offices in the United Kingdom.
