Scope:
IST Industrial was contracted on a turnkey basis to redesign the existing compressed air installation in order to increase capacity by 50%, improve the compressed air quality and ensure uninterrupted supply of compressed air to the smelter in the event of a mains power failure. The contract included the installation of additional compressors, the expansion of the cooling water system, the replacement of the air dryers and the redesign of the entire control and electrical system.
