ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
IST's policy is to control the environmental impacts of its activities and operations through the implementation of an Environmental Management System which will enable it to achieve the following objectives:
- Comply with all applicable environmental Laws, Rules and Regulations.
- Prevention of pollution.
- Ensure employee awareness and responsibility on environmental issues by providing training and participation programs.
- Reduce waste generation and contamination of air, water and land. We will also ensure that unavoidable waste is disposed of in a safe, environmental friendly way.
- Reduce resources consumption to achieve the stated objectives.
- Adopt new technologies, when available and practical, which enable us to fulfil these objectives.
- Undertake reviews to ensure compliance with this policy and the continual improvement of IST's environmental performance.
As evidence of our commitment to the protection of the environment, IST will publish this policy as an item on IST's Web Site. In addition it will be available to any interested party or member of the public on request.
